The War for driving traffic to personal blog is still didn’t ended… Many Personal Bloggers fight like a Warriors but fails everytime to reach a good amount of readers. 
But i saw some Personal Blogs which are having good number of comments in each post and too huge traffic.. How can i do the same for my blog?
I asked this same question to many experts and got some effective ways to drive traffic.
#1. You can start by pushing your blog url into different sorts of blog directories.
#2. Form some Common & interesting discussion on your blog, which inspires everyone to participate !
#3. Who says that your personal blog cannot cover multiple topics… Write on the different topics over your blog that interests you most like Apple, Google and Microsoft, etc… This will drive the traffic.
#4. The best way for a personal blog to get comments is to be personable in the comment sections of other blogs. You have to read, read, read, then comment, comment, comment and become friends with other bloggers. Especially if you want them to come back and interact with you on your blog.
If that doesn't sound like fun to you then you shouldn't worry about traffic.
